| ask "Does my
tub (or whatever it may be) just look dated, worn, dull, et
cetera?" If you are merely dealing with a dated, worn, or even
damaged fixture then refinishing is the best route to go. I have
never seen a tub or fixture "damaged beyond repair." That
doesn't mean they don't exist, but statistically the odds are
very much in your favor for saving money.
Let me illustrate
this for you. To tear out and replace the average bathtub could
cost as much as $3,000. Even on the low end you are looking at
paying at least $1,000 to have this work done. It would require
a plumber, tile & grout specialist, floor covering, carpenter,
as well as purchasing the tub itself. Then the question is how
to you get the old one out the door and the new one in?
The average bathtub can be refinished for a fraction of
remodeling cost, giving you a like new appearance.
Refinishing makes sense!
This by far is our
most popular service. We have saved our customers tens of
thousands of dollars and countless Aspirin pills. Some of our
customers talked to those "tub liner" people before calling us
and got quotes for $4,000 just to put in one shower liner! We
were able to tile both bathroom floors, the shower surround, and
refinish the tub in one and the shower in the other bath for the
same amount of money.
You don't have to work for NASA or be a CPA to figure out that
refinishing is the way to go! |
